“And when the darkness falls away and the light returns I see that this new world isn’t really a new world after all; it is as bland and grey as it has always been, and I am bland and grey in it.” – Times of Bright, words from my work-in-progress.
These are the things (and these, and these, too), that have inspired my novel-in-the-works:

Beautiful! I’m really intrigued. Love all of these.
Thanks, Steph! When you linked the ‘WeHeartIt’ site on yours I suddenly had so many beautiful new pictures to choose from, so I just had to do a third post to fit all the new ones in!
Your pictures are really beautiful, but the reason I’m commenting instead of just looking at them is because of the quote you put at the beginning. The one from your novel? It was beautiful, and I honestly want to read more, just from that one sentence. And I also adore your title, and I’m rather jealous, since I’m having title difficulties of my own right now, ugh. Anyway, I love your blog!
Aww, thank you so much Lila! That’s one of my favourite quotes from what I’ve written so far, so I was really keen to share it with everyone. I’m really glad you like it, and that you want to read more. š
I still haven’t settled on what I want the title to be yet. ‘Times of Bright’ was the very first working title I had, but I’ve had so many title changes (at the moment I’m using ‘Sweet Violence,’ but that could change again when it comes time to submit in a few months.
Thanks for your lovely comments! xx
